This week we were lucky enough to win 4 separate awards at the Tempest Awards 2024 for our Overwolf Ads x Monster Energy: Call of Duty MW3 Global Launch Day campaign.
Sitting in great company, other winners included AT&T, Riot Games, Ubisoft, Mastercard, Havas and theScore Esports.
Our Monster Energy campaign this year employed our unique Moment-Triggered Ads product, where we produced an online tournament in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that went live simultaneously with the game’s release in over 24 countries. Alongside this an extensive awareness media campaign promoted the tournament, generating over 65K matches being played, a 90% viewability rate, 75% video completion rate and moving Monster Energy to the #1 category leader amongst our 100M monthly audience.
