Introducing the “High Impact” Ad Unit
We’re excited to unveil High Impact - a bold, immersive new ad unit designed to boost developer revenue and deliver premium brand experiences.

New in the Developer Console: The Affiliation Feature
We’re happy to introduce the new Affiliation tab in the Developer Console - now live for all developers!
This feature enables you to create, manage, and track UTM-tagged links, driving user acquisition and measuring affiliate-driven performance.
Here’s what you can do:
- Create new referral UTMs for your campaigns
- Track revenue and engagement stats
- Activate, deactivate, or archive campaigns easily

New Game Events: Roblox & Riot’s 2XKO
Roblox
We’re thrilled to announce new live game events for Roblox, starting with the popular “Grow a Garden” experience!
These events open exciting possibilities for app creators to build innovative overlays, insights, and experiences around the Roblox platform - one of the largest player communities in the world and a Top 10 game among Overwolf users.
Riot’s 2XKO
Big news for fighting game fans! Riot’s upcoming title 2XKO, is now in open beta with access to all users for free and now has official GEP support on Overwolf. This highly anticipated 2v2 fighter allows players to brawl with League of Legends champions in a fast-paced, competitive format. Developers can already start exploring new events to power overlays and data-driven features ahead of its 2025 release.
ARC Raiders Launches October 30
After months of anticipation, ARC Raiders is finally launching on October 30th!
This new third-person extraction shooter is generating huge buzz with its PvPvE gameplay and cinematic style, and it is currently the #3 most whislisted game on Steam. If you’re planning to build for ARC Raiders or want to request new GEP integrations, reach out to your DevRel or contact the Overwolf team.
🏆 Quest Complete
- Overwolf Native Version 0.283.0.12 - Game injection now occurs when the detected game’s window height is at least 400px. This ensures the client doesn't inject into small “loading” windows. Check the notes here.
- New Games - We have added support for 81 new games! Look up the complete game list.
- Game Events - New game events for Marvel Rivals and more! Our roadmap lists all important GEP releases. See the various changelogs for released events here.
