📊 2025 Overwolf Developer Feedback Survey

As 2025 comes to a close, we’d love to hear about your experience building on Overwolf this year.

  • What worked well?
  • What didn’t?
  • And where should we focus next?

Your feedback directly helps shape the tools, features, and support we build moving forward.

Thank you for taking the time — we truly appreciate your input and continued support. 🧡

🖥️ Second Screen: An Opportunity You Shouldn’t Miss

Did you know that over 30% of Overwolf users play with multiple screens?

In many cases, the second screen stays open during gameplay — often underutilized.

This creates a powerful opportunity to:

  • Enhance user experience without disrupting gameplay
  • Increase engagement during longer play sessions
  • Improve monetization through higher ad visibility and performance

We highly recommend designing your app with second-screen behavior in mind.

📡 New Performance Data API (Now Live!)

In case you missed it — we’ve just released a brand-new API for accessing Performance Dashboard data from the Developer Console.

This has been one of the most requested features from our developer community.

What’s new?

Until now, performance statistics were available only via the UI. With the new API, you can:

  • Programmatically retrieve performance metrics
  • Integrate data into internal dashboards and monitoring systems
  • Automate workflows and analyze data on your own terms

⚠️ Known Issue

On the first API call, the system triggers a data refresh. This means:

  • First response may contain outdated data
  • Second call returns updated information

Our team is actively working on a fix, and we plan to expand this API to include more dashboards in the future.
