Welcome to the Overwolf Developers April 2026 Newsletter!
April is in high gear! This month, we're looking ahead to the biggest stage in gaming, dropping support for some massive new releases, and delivering one of your most-requested community features to the Web Appstore.

New Feature: Web Appstore User Reviews
One of our most-requested features has officially migrated from the Client Appstore to the Web! Your users can now leave reviews directly on your web appstore page.
- Electron Support: For the first time ever, this feature is also available for our Electron apps!
- Coming Soon: We're adding a "Support" link for every reviewer. You'll be able to control this link from your Dev Console to redirect users to your Discord, a feedback form, or a help desk.
New Game Support: Slay the Spire 2 and Crimson Desert
March brought two of the year's biggest releases so far, and the opportunity for creators is massive:
- Slay the Spire 2 (Game ID: 27858): Since hitting Early Access on March 5th, this sequel has shattered records with over 574,000 concurrent players. With the addition of 4-player co-op, players are actively looking for deck analyzers and co-op sync tools.
- Crimson Desert (Game ID: 27872): Launched March 20th. This massive open-world adventure is the perfect candidate for interactive maps and combat guides.

Save the Date: Gamescom 2026
We have some Gamescom 2026 info to share.
Overwolf will be there between August 26 and 28.
We'll have a booth set up, and we'd love for you to visit and meet us in person and meet the creators behind the apps.
We'll be sharing more details on how to find us soon, but if you're already planning your trip, reach out to your DevRel manager or in the Discord channels.
Brand Partnerships: March TL;DR
Our team has been busy generating advertiser demand to ensure more revenue flows back to our developers. Here's the quick recap:
- Global Presence: We hosted major activations at Dentsu NY, the Campaign Gaming Summit in London, and Nite 2 Unite (GDC) to put Overwolf in front of top-tier brand spenders.
- Award-Worthy: Overwolf Ads has been shortlisted for Best Adtech Provider and Best Gaming Platform at the 2026 Campaign Media Awards!
What this means for you: Greater advertiser confidence and more high-value campaigns entering the ecosystem.
Quest Complete: Recent Victories and Milestones
- New Games: We have added support for 22 new games! Look up the complete game list.
- Game Events: New game events for Arknights, Fortnite and more! Our roadmap lists all important GEP releases. See the various changelogs for released events here.

- The Right Events for Apps: Found a game you want to make an app for, but there are no events? Let us know by posting a request in our requests forum! (make sure you have joined our Discord community to get access).
