Some conversations are better had over dinner.
That's the thinking behind High Scores - what started as one of our most-read newsletters has grown into something more tangible: an invitation-only dinner series where senior agency and brand leaders sit down with the Overwolf Ads team for an honest, in-depth conversation about gaming and what it means for their business.
On April 8th, we hosted what turned out to be one of our favourite evenings yet. Our latest High Scores dinner brought us to Chicago, where we welcomed a group of senior decision-makers from Publicis - leaders responsible for media strategy across some of the world's biggest brands. Around 15 guests gathered in a private dining room at The Alston, and the energy in the room was something special. The conversation was open, curious, and genuinely exciting - exactly what these evenings are made for.

Why This Format Works
The High Scores dinner is intentionally intimate. Just a private room, a small group of sharp minds, and a real conversation about where gaming fits into modern media strategy.
The guests at our Chicago dinner work across multiple brand portfolios, which means they're constantly navigating questions about audience reach, media efficiency, and finding channels that actually move the needle. Gaming - and specifically the communities that live inside it - has answers to all three. Nathan Lindberg, VP of Brand Partnerships at Overwolf and Jake Demyan, Brand Partnerships Director at Overwolf walked the table through the data, the formats, and the thinking behind why gaming is no longer a niche add-on to a media plan, but a core consideration for reaching highly engaged, hard-to-reach audiences.
The conversation covered why gaming deserves investment, what it actually looks like to activate inside a game environment, and how brands can reach their communities in ways that feel native, dynamic, and genuinely effective. The level of engagement, the quality of questions, and the genuine curiosity in the room reminded us exactly why we created this format - and made us excited for every dinner still to come.
